You had decided to go to the library after school so you could study. You sat yourself down at an empty chair and cracked open your books. You read over the tiny print passages and sighed in frustration. Your final exam for your second language course was coming up on Monday, and it didn't help that you never were good with languages.
"Why did I even take German," you groaned as you rested your head on the library table. "I have three days to learn a new language," you muttered.
After you had complained about the language for a good hour, you decided to try and study some more. You looked over your notes in your notebook and tried to recoll
Bully!Prussia X Bullied!Reader: Forgotten CH 2
You sat by yourself in the far corner of the cafeteria at an empty lunch table, absently drumming your fingers against its surface with your chin in your hand, your stomach giving off loud, impatient growls every few seconds. How you wished you had your lunch money with you at that moment and would have been able to buy at least something to keep you from being as hungry as you were now. If you had known that something like the previous incident with Gilbert was going to happen, you would have at least brought your own lunch, even if you would've risked him getting angry at the fact that you didn’t have any money.
You lifted your gaze,
Dense (AmericaxTomboy!Reader) "What's up, Al?" You asked as you saw your blonde-haired friend.
"Dude, _______________, you wanna go to my totally awesome party this weekend?!" He yelled, his blue eyes sparkling more than usual.
"Hell yeah!" You reply, subconsciously grabbing the thin bra strap through your shirt and adjusting it. The action went unnoticed by Alfred, who continued to squirm.
"Hey, remember that time Artie got drunk as hell and almost made out with Francis? This is gonna be even crazier! I can't wait!"
"Yeah, sounds great! But I swear, if slip something into my stuff again, you will never be able to make a child, Alfred Jones." You added darkly, recalling the time he had somehow managed to slip estrogen supplements into your drink. You had no idea where or how he had gotten hold of them, but you had spent the whole of the next day doubled over on the toilet.
Alfred gulped, looking a bit scared as he replied, "N-no way, dude. I won't do it again, I a

Alfred stared at the computer screen with a not so amused expression. It was another photo his friend Oliver had taken with his "Oh so perfect family" he had. Well, that's what the cupcake freak call's his family. He glanced a the almost mirror imagine son Oliver had. Except his son had the eyes of his mother. A disgust tone trickled from brunette's throat and closed the window. He could take anymore of this cutesy shit. But somehow he was slightly envious of what Oliver had. A beautiful wife, a good home, a decent job, a smiling son.
Years ago this would make the American's head turn away and sneer at the thought, but now. Being older, he f

You smacked Alfred up the head as ‘YOU LOSE’ flashes across your screen. “Jerk!”
“Ha I win!”
“This is co-op mode!”
You moved your earphones from your head and turned to look at your best friend. “So I heard (name you hate) is going to ask you out. What’s up with that?”
Alfred unplugged himself from his game and chuckled, “Yeah.”
Pulling your knees up to your chest you asked, “What ya gonna say?”
Your best friend shrugged, “Don’t know. She’s kinda a b**ch and not my type.”

Kiku's hands shook as he lifted the worn wooden bucket. The precious sea water within sloshed over the sides, a few drops splattering the scuffed stone beneath his tabi socks.
It wasn't his first time preforming this duty. He had preformed the ritual countless number of times, but each time he had had his fathers critical gaze to steady his hands.
Now, however, he was alone, frightened of messing up, unsure if he would preform it correctly.
If he messed up, it would be on his head and at a terrible price, The secret his entire village strove to protect would be rui

Today was the Norwegian man's birthday, and he wasn't in top condition to celebrate it fully.
You frowned, a bit unhappy that your friend would have to be confined to his room on his special day. An unexpected cold had ambushed him, and you felt like it was your duty to pay him a visit, just to see of he was doing alright.
That's why you were standing on the doorstep of the Nordics' house, leaning slightly on the heels on your feet, waiting for someone to welcome you in.
You were met with Finland, who was also one of your friends. He welcomed you in, in full knowledge on the reason fo

For most people cleaning is a job that is preformed quickly. A duty that is a boring necessity. For others, cleaning is a habit, something that is done at the end of every day.
For you, cleaning was nothing, mainly because you never had to. Not anymore.
Not since a Brownie had decided to make it's home in your walls.
At first you had thought that the tiny scratching noises and low chattering in the walls was a mouse. But then you noticed the small changes in your house.
Clothing you had left on the floor was suddenly clean and neatly folded on your dresser. Dishe

I stood on the balcony of my hotel room looking out in the nightlife of the busy streets of New York. I came here often to unwind a bit and enjoy the city life. People think I’m crazy for coming to New York only to relax, but there’s something about this place that puts my mind to ease. It’s 1:30 a.m. and I’m still having one of those insomnia episodes, for some reason I haven’t been having good sleep. I’ve thinking about her too much.
She has been invading my mind when I try to get some peaceful slumber. I try to get her image out of my head, but she seems to al
You only have one shot (Mafia!RomanoXReader)Lovino growled, snapping his foot in irritation against the hard concrete of the garage. He sent another scowl at the shiny silver watch strapped to his wrist, his glare deepening. Where the hell were you?! You were never this late! Another growl left him as he started pacing up and down the wide, open space of the base.
Most of his men watched him nervously, knowing exactly what could happen when he was in such an agitated state. They’d seen enough bloodied noses and broken teeth to know it was wise for them to keep their mouths shut. Only the boss’s brother seemed oblivious to his anger, humming happily as he played with a tabb

Feliciano bounded into the house, interrupting Lovino in his peaceful nap time. He didn’t want to meet any more of his brother’s friends. He didn’t like them, but he couldn’t just get rid of them. What was sad, is him brother chose his friends more than family.
“I don’t want to meet your friends, you bastard.” Lovino growled and sat up, turning his glare to his brother. Behind the saddened Italian, was a pouting woman, (e/c) eyes bright and watery. She pushed a lock of (h/c) hair behind her ear and fingered Feliciano’s sleeve.

In the warmth of the summer sun, you were having the perfect afternoon.
Lying on the wide stone ledge that bordered one of the many big fountains around your school’s campus, you found yourself smiling as you dangled one of your hands in the cool water beside you; a pleasant contrast to the heat you were soaking in from the sunshine above. In your other hand was a book, which served a dual purpose: to shield your face from the sun’s rays and to occupy your mind so that you didn’t doze off.
Unfortunately, the latter was becoming more and more of a problem as you lay beside the fo

He thought the day couldn’t get any duller. Then suddenly his father, the king, entered the room. “There you are, Arthur! I have been looking for you everywhere.”, the king said in a jovial tone. Arthur sighed. “What is it father?”, Arthur questioned his cheerful father. “The new servants arrive at the kingdom today.”, his father informed his son.
The prince sighed. The kingdom always got servants every few months, so this was yet another uneventful day. A messenger then en

You sat behind the glass wall of a dance room, watching your boyfriend of four months, Antonio, teach people how to do the salsa and tango. It looked like so much fun, but alas, you couldn’t dance for your life. In fact, you’d probably just trip on a flat surface and fall on your ass on the first move. But nevertheless, you loved to watch, you loved to watch Antonio dance, wishing that his partner was you. "Aw, you jealous of my amazing card playing skills?" He cocked his head to the side and showed off his movie star grin. Growling, you crossed your arms over your chest and pouted.
"No, it's just a stupid game." He laughed and swung his arm over your shoulders.

I don't exist unless someone acknowledges me.
I have no meaning unless someone pays attention to me.
I have no purpose unless someone else is aware of me.
Is that all that life is?
Do we as beings cease to have significance unless another is in our lives?
Can we never truly be alone without losing our meaning?
Is that why people turn to "god"s, so that they never feel alone?
And what of those who choose to be alone? Are we erasing ourselves from existence?
I fear I may shrivel and die inside before the answer comes.
But that is preferable to seeking attention for its own sake.

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
"About...well...what's out there." Helio and I were rooted to the stairs, quite happily, but it was awkward to move in. He kind of twisted in the general direction of the closest pore. "Out in the cytoplasm."
"I haven't," I admitted. "What's there to wonder about?"
"That's exactly the thing. I have no idea." Helio sighed, gazing into the distance. "Somehow it feels like we play this huge, huge role in something important, but how can we when we don't even know what that something is? I want to be something that, that has
